This collection of 60 miniature paintings of the Provo City Center Temple, where the artist and her spouse were married, was originally created as gifts for the guests. Each piece is unique, featuring different color palettes, textures, and various seasons. The paintings showcase the Provo mountains with the majestic Provo City Center Temple in the foreground.

Each painting in the collection is a testament to the artist’s versatility and attention to detail. The artist uses varied color palettes to capture the temple and surrounding landscape in different lights and moods, reflecting the changing seasons. The textures range from smooth, serene skies to the intricate, tactile details of the temple’s architecture and the rugged Provo mountains. These artistic choices bring each piece to life, offering a unique perspective on the temple’s beauty and spiritual significance.

The artist believes that you can connect with an original piece of art much more deeply than with a print. She knows that most people will never own an original in their lifetime, yet she wanted all her closest friends and family to own an original of hers, even if it was a miniature. She hopes that all the guests, but especially the children, her and Stephens's nieces and nephews who attended the event, will develop a love for art and cherish the time they had at the Provo City Center Temple as they see the paintings they chose in their bedrooms.

Once the Provo City Tabernacle, the Provo City Center Temple holds personal and historical significance, it was initially built with funds raised by Stephen’s ancestor, Abraham Owen Smoot, making it a meaningful location for their eternal union.

The couple was sealed for time and all eternity in this sacred temple on April 3rd, 2024. This date is profoundly significant, marking the 188th anniversary of the restoration of the sealing power to the earth, as recorded in Doctrine and Covenants 110.

The artist’s inner circle of friends was crucial in accomplishing this enormous task before the wedding. She taught them the principles of oil painting, and together, they worked tirelessly to complete the collection. Their collaborative effort made the project possible and added a layer of personal connection and shared joy to each piece.

The remaining pieces from their wedding are now available for sale. Each painting serves as a small, personal reflection of this cherished temple’s beauty and spiritual significance, capturing the essence of the temple through various artistic interpretations.
